She reminded us that our present suffering and the injustice in life are actually preparing us to receive God's promises and blessing for our lives. Let us choose to stay in God's protection and not be rushed to take matters into our own hands.
Alex Guo shared with the 1.5 Generation Congregation at EFCI on the topic of “From Sadness to Praise” from the book of Psalm. All songs trigger and express our emotion, but different from popular songs, the book of Psalms all directed their attention back to God. Through the interaction with God, many of the Israeli got transformed and regained their faith. Alex encouraged us to seek God in the face of struggle, and allow the spirit of God to transform us, from sadness to Praise.
Pastor Benjamin Chen shared with the 1.5 Generation Congregation at EFCI on the topic of “To do or not to do” from I Samuel 24. Pastor Benjamin reminded us that we need to have patience, and stay faithful to God’s promise in the valley of our life.

Sister Sharon Hou shared with the 1.5 Generation Congregation at EFCI on the topic of “The Soil Project” Sharon Hou reminded us that we need to be sensitive and obedient to God’s words, and constantly trying to identify and live it out. There are three symbols in this analogy, the sower, the seed and the soil. This story often refers to the person spreading gospel, the word of God, and our heart. The seeds spread by the sower are essentially the same, but they have very different outcomes because of the differences in the locations they were spread.
Pastor Anthony So shared with the 1.5 Generation Congregation at EFCI on the topic of “The Lord Wants to Use You.” Pastor Anthony So reminded us that we are valued deeply by God, and were carefully chosen to live and serve for God’s purpose.

Pastor KC shared with 1.5 Generation congregation on the topic of hospitality. He emphasized importance of hospitality in the history of the church and the impact it will bring to our ministry.
Pastor Ben shared in his sermon to the 1.5 Generation congregation at EFCI Christian Church on the topic of How Religion Bounds Us? He raised the distinction between following a religion versus having a relationship with our creator. “True religion is about our inner hearts”, he declared.
Pastor Ben shared with us today the importance of observing the Sabbath in our Christian walk and provided us practical ways of how we can find rest in our loving God.
Sister Angel Chuang shared with us how to be the best example for other Christians from the book of Romans. She shared that believers have a duty to bear each other’s weaknesses and also should seek to please our neighbors. These teachings are set by Jesus’ example, which is the best example. When we imitate Jesus, we become and example for others.
